Library Study Rooms

Library Study Rooms

Study rooms are available on each library. The size of the study rooms as well as room amenities available vary by location, but descriptions are available on the reservation page.

Rooms are typically available on a first come/first serve basis without restriction; however, there are certain times when restrictions are necessary. During mid-terms and finals, reservations may be limited.

Study room reservations may be made at the following link:

Biology (Anatomy & Physiology) Study Rooms

A&P Study Room(s) are available at the Floyd and Cartersville libraries. These study rooms feature anatomical models, microscopes, and slides. Patrons may use these rooms during the semester by signing in and out at the circulation desk. During mid-terms and finals, time restrictions are instituted on A&P study room usage to ensure all students have fair access to the facilities. Limit of 6 students per room.

A&P Slides

Anatomy and Physiology slides are reserve items that must be checked out from the front desk. They are to be kept in the library and to be used with one of the microscopes kept in the rooms.

The Biology department has provided microscopes for student use. The microscopes are locked inside the study room cabinets. The cabinet keys are kept on reserve at the front desk and must be checked out.

Students studying the models must check out a cabinet key from the front desk.

Slides and cabinet keys must be returned the front desk the same day they are checked out.
