Duo Fob Policy
Georgia Highlands College Library is pleased to offer Duo Hardware Tokens (Fobs) on a semester-loan basis. The Fobs can be used to assist students or faculty in logging into their GHC account. The Dean of Libraries and College Testing may exempt portions of the policy to accommodate patrons in extraordinary circumstances.
Eligibility:
Currently registered GHC students.
Faculty/Staff currently employed by GHC.
Policy:
Fobs are available on a first come, first served basis for a semester-length loan. Due date will move to immediate upon student withdrawal from all classes, or upon faculty/staff separation from GHC.
A registration hold will be placed on student institutional accounts for items not returned by the due date. Any holds associated with the Duo Fob will be removed upon return of the undamaged item.
Borrowers are responsible for the item and will be liable for a lost, damaged, or unreturned item.
GHC Library is not responsible for personal data stored on the Duo Fob after it is returned.
Borrowers are responsible for contacting IT and activating Duo Fob to their specific GHC account at the start of the semester.
Borrowers are responsible for contacting IT and deactivating Duo Fob to their specific GHC account at the end of the semester.

By checking out a Duo Fob, I agree to comply with the GHC Duo Fob policy and accept responsibility for any damages or loss to the item. I understand that if items are lost, stolen, or badly damaged, I am responsible for a replacement cost of $20.
