Special Notes:
  • Use the same format for print and ebooks, and check this tab for information about DOIs and URLs
  • Do not include database name, format, platform, or device.
About DOIs and URLs:
  • If the ebook has no DOI or stable URL, end the citation after the publisher name just like a print book.
  • If the book includes a DOI, include the DOI in the reference after the publisher name.
  • If the ebook without a DOI has a stable URL that will resolve for readers, include the URL of the book in the reference.
  • The DOI of a book (found in newer books, published 2018 & forward) can be found on the copyright page of printed books.
