Career Guide: Ask for Help

ASK!

Get Help. Utilize free services that provide career counseling and job search assistance such as GHC's Student Support Services or the the Department of Labor Career Centers.  Even your local public library often provides workshops, programs, classes, and other resources to help you with your job search.

Use Your Network. Be aware of the fact that many job openings aren't advertised. Tell your friends and family that you are looking for work. Don't be afraid to ask around - someone you know may have information on the perfect job!
