Kanopy’s vision is to entertain, educate, and inspire by providing access to films that matter. We aim to provide a delightful, inclusive experience for all users.
We design our apps and website to support screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, and other assistive technologies. We work to expressively label, describe, logically arrange, and provide a large enough tap (or click) area for interactive elements.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Kanopy’s goal is to comply with the applicable WCAG 2.1 Level AA Success Criteria across our website and apps.
We have collaborated with Level Access to strengthen our accessibility features and will continue to make improvements to the Kanopy platform to improve accessibility for all users and increase compliance. Accessibility remains an area of focus through ongoing testing and development to ensure a delightful experience for all.
