How to Use JSTOR

JSTOR is a multidisciplinary database that holds scholarly content from 2,600 journals and 85,000 eBooks. Using the database ensures that you will find high quality sources for assignments. Watch the short video below to learn how to access JSTOR and begin searching.

Using the Advance Search

JSTOR Advance Search is a powerful tool that allows you to narrow your search results by discipline, source type and more. Watch this short video to learn how to best utilize the tool.

ON CAMPUS

If you're on campus the bar across the top of the screen should say "Access provided by Georgia Highlands College".

OFF CAMPUS

To log in from off campus click on the "Log in through your library" link, then use the dropdown to find and select Georgia Highlands College and use your network credentials.

JSTOR ProTips

Once you complete your initial search, you can narrow down, or REFINE, your results. You can choose other keywords and search within your current results or you can narrow by content type.
