Types of business research

Business research differs based on its goal; a researcher uses:

Company Research to find information about a specific company, such as its financial and operational records

Industry Research to find information about a particular industry, such as the companies in an industry and their competitors

Market Research to find information about consumers, such as demographic and statistical information
