STEP 1: 

When you write a paper, you need to be able to USE sources in your paper! Learn how to use direct quotes and how to paraphrase content in "Paraphrasing and Direct Quotes".

STEP 2:

After you write a great paper, you need to have great citations. APA citations can be complicated, so we'll split that into two sessions. This tab will focus on in-text citations, using paraphrasing and direct quotes

Upon completion of information literacy instruction, students should be able to:

  1. Understand how to write an annotated bibliography.
  2. Demonstrate how to paraphrase content. (6c)
  3. Articulate when to use direct quotations. (6d)
  4. Cite sources correctly in the appropriate documentation style. (6e)
