Bloom's Literary Reference Online

What is it?
This database contains literary criticism, summaries of works, biographies of authors, and tips on writing. Conveniently, you can search for an author or a specific novel or poem. If you're in an English class, this is an incredibly helpful resource.

When should I use it?
When you are looking for:

  • Literary Criticism
  • Author Biographies
  • Synopsis of a work

 Why we like it!
Who exactly is Harold Bloom? This database provides clips of interviews with the man. On the homepage, look for the "Harold Bloom" box, and select "Browse the Videos."
