Let me be among the first at Georgia Highlands College to welcome you to the Division of Libraries and College Testing. We are truly excited to have you join this team. The following documents should help you gain a better understanding of the division, our purpose, how we operate, and our ethos. This useful information will help you learn your important role in the division and within our College. I hope you will cherish this time of transition and learn as much as you can. Julius Fleschner, Dean of Libraries & College Testing, or the employee's immediate supervisor will review job description and expectations with new employees.
Have Georgia Highlands picture ID made in Business Office.
New employee should complete Parking Permit Request form online and then visit Campus Security to get parking permit.
Switch over phone number and computer, if applicable.
HR will provide employee's 900# before start date.
Business cards and keys can only be done after new employee starts, as both require a valid GHC email address.
Name tag and business cards are usually received 1-2 weeks after start date.
New employees need access to the following:
Add employee to appropriate email and Outlook groups.
New employee should familiarize himself/herself with Library page on Georgia Highlands site.
