Another source for books is the Georgia Highlands College (GHC) eContent Collection provided through NetLibrary.  NetLibrary's eContent is the digital version of books, journals, and database content, and therefore accessible 24 hours a days, seven days a week. Books can be located searching GIL Find or NetLibrary through GALILEO.
While on a GHC campus, no password is required to access this digital material.  However, in order to log in from home, it is necessary to create a free account using a GHC campus computer.

and then click on  Create a Free Account  at the top right of the page.  Fill in the required information.

Having trouble finding the material you need in our catalog? You can search GILUC, the combined catalogs of all the University System of Georgia schools and request titles using GIL Express.

Search GILUC directly for the desired book. When you find an item that matches what you want to borrow, click on the request button at the top of the screen.

  1. Select your Home institution from the drop down menu
  2. Enter your patron barcode/institutional ID number
  3. Enter your Last Name
  4. Click on the button "Logon for USG GIL Express"
  5. Reenter your patron barcode/institutional ID number on the Request form
  6. Select your choice of Pick-up library from the drop down menu
  7. Submit request
  8. Be sure to logout at the end of your session
