You've reviewed the information on how to do research in Galileo... finding books works much the same way! Use the Books & More search box. It will take you into GIL-Find, our book catalog. Start with a broad search, and then put your keyword search skills to work in order to narrow down your results.

Click on Advanced Search (just under the search box after you do your first search)
Use the dropdown on the right to search by SUBJECT. If you're searching for an event, this is one of the best ways to find materials related to that event!
Click on the Books & More tab in the search below to find materials in the book catalog!

REQUESTING A BOOK ONLINE
Want a book from another GHC campus? How about from another school? Never fear, it's easy to do!
1. Go to the GHC Primo Catalog (or use the box above) and search for the books you need.
2. Click on "Sign In" in the top right corner. You will need to sign in using your student email and password.
3. After you have signed in, it will take you back to your search. Find the book you would like to request. Click on "Get It", this will open a box. Below that there will be a "Request" link, click on it.
4. Choose your campus pickup location and then click "Request".
The GIL Universal Catalog is now part of the same search you do for Georgia Highlands!
GIL Universal searches the library collections at all colleges and universities in the University System of Georgia. To search everywhere, once you complete your first search, you can use the dropdown box next to your search words and change it from "Georgia Highlands College" to "University System of Georgia".
