Verbal Citation Guidelines

General Guidelines:

  • Brief
  • Informative
  • Give enough information to strengthen your point, and allow listener to go find source
  • Use the formula: Setup + Citation + Explanation 

What to include (who, what, when):

  • Author
  • Author's credentials
  • Title of Work
  • Published Date of Work
