INFORMATION LITERACY LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of information literacy instruction, students should be able to:

Differentiate between types of source materials (e.g., books, journal articles, websites, newspapers).

Refine and narrow searches using built-in database limiters. 

Build an effective search strategy utilizing keywords, key phrases, and synonyms.
