Each student will be required to complete a biographical research paper about a favorite author or literary figure. Students may write about authors, poets, or playwrights. Papers will be written in MLA style and be at least ten paragraphs in length. Word count must be a minimum of 1,000 words. Papers will include paranthetical citations. Cite at least three sources and include a Works Cited page. Students must receive instructor approval on their choice of an author. This essay will also be submitted to turnitin.com.
