Course objectives - Abstract Assignment:

• Effectively use standardized research methods to research and evaluate scientific information on current topics related to the profession of dental hygiene.

• Identify a minimum of three scholarly journal/research articles related to the topic selected and prepare abstracts for each source following APA Guidelines.
• Compile a reference list in APA format of articles used in the compilation of the information for presentation and include in the assigned brochure

Table Clinic Abstract Evaluation

Each student must submit 3 abstracts that support his/her table clinic topic. Attach separate grade sheet with each article and abstract. In addition, each abstract must be submitted to turnitin.com. The points earned for each abstract will be totaled and averaged for final grade in this portion of the table clinic grade for DHYG 1310. All assignments are expected on the assigned due date. If you choose to not turn the assignment in on the due date, you will lose 9 points per day for each day the assignment is late.
