Britannica Elementary's Animal Kingdom provides access to encyclopedia articles, images, and videos on topics related to animals and habitats. This resource is designed especially for intermediate readers at the elementary and early middle school levels. Learning materials and teacher's resources are included on the site.

Britannica Learning Zone is designed specifically for young learners. Students will find engaging and developmentally-appropriate activities including an interactive atlas, learning games, engaging audio and video, and effective vocabulary builders. The Britannica Learning Zone teaches concepts such as geography, time, shapes, numbers, and reinforces relevant vocabulary, all in a fun and safe online environment.

Britannica Online School Edition provides teachers and students access to three complete encyclopedias that ensure consistency with classroom topics and age-appropriate language. The database also includes a Learning Materials section that incorporates interactive guides to language arts, mathematics, and science into the classroom and a Teacher's Resources section that helps incorporate the encyclopedia and the Internet into the curriculum.
