PREAMBLE
Aware
Of the need of community
based support groups within the community
Concerned
With the increase in teen
crime, sexually transmitted diseases, homelessness of sometimes entire
families, increase in illnesses once only seen in the elderly and increase in
the numbers of the vulnerable
Recognizing
The need for community based
groups to empower the less privileged targeted groups with the skills and
resources to better enable them to become as self reliant as possible and to
let them know someone cares enough to
come where they are.
Expected outcome

Mountain Top Experience is
organized exclusively to give aid and assistance to vulnerable persons and
those in need such as children, elderly, the homeless or those facing
homelessness. Literature, information, workshops and some testing with
appropriate referrals will be made available in regards to health related
issues and social concerns such as HIV/AIDS, STD’S, Diabetes, High Bloods
Pressure, Child Care, and Nutrition, as well as Mental Health. Food, Clothing, Household and Personal Care
items will be made available also at no charge without discrimination. Mountain
Tops’ main goal is to help and encourage persons to become productive self
reliant members of society at large.
