Citizenship Project

Mountain Top Experience

Community Outreach

Of the need of community based support groups within the community

With the increase in teen crime, sexually transmitted diseases, homelessness of sometimes entire families, increase in illnesses once only seen in the elderly and increase in the numbers of the vulnerable

The need for community based groups to empower the less privileged targeted groups with the skills and resources to better enable them to become as self reliant as possible and to let them  know someone cares enough to come where they are.

Expected outcome

Mountain Top Experience is organized exclusively to give aid and assistance to vulnerable persons and those in need such as children, elderly, the homeless or those facing homelessness. Literature, information, workshops and some testing with appropriate referrals will be made available in regards to health related issues and social concerns such as HIV/AIDS, STD’S, Diabetes, High Bloods Pressure, Child Care, and Nutrition, as well as Mental Health.  Food, Clothing, Household and Personal Care items will be made available also at no charge without discrimination. Mountain Tops’ main goal is to help and encourage persons to become productive self reliant members of society at large.
