FCCS 1100: B. Johnson-Fall 2010: Journals A-Z

Using Journals A-Z

The Journals A-Z tab was created primarily to help you find full text periodical articles and it contains several useful features:

1. You can click on the first letter of a periodical title and if the one you are interested in is on the list, it will tell you if it is available in full text in any database in GALILEO or online.

2. You can also type in an exact title of a journal and it will tell you if full text of that journal is available anywhere.

3. You can also use the search to find keywords that appear in periodical titles or descriptions, for example if you are interested in computes you can search the word "computers" and find periodicals in GALILEO with that word in the title or description. It will also let you know if full text is available and in what database or web site to find it.

4. If you have found a citation for an article that is of interest to you there is also a Find Cited Article link that will let you fill in the article information and see if it is available in full text anywhere in GALILEO or one the web.
