May is Personal History Month

May is Personal History Month! (You may also see it called Personal History Awareness Month.) Personal History Month is officially recognized by the Association of Personal Historians and exists to encourage people to take the time to capture their own life stories to preserve for future generations. This can take the form of exploring your ancestry and genealogy, scrapbooking, and/or digitizing your family photos and personal archives. In relation to the concept of wellness, Personal History Month can also be time to take stock of yourself and your important records by taking a health assessment risk and organizing your health records, making sure your resume is up-to-date, and taking care of important life and death planning tasks, such as creating a will and living will. Please check out the resources on this guide and take our survey for GHC Wellness Points. Thanks for stopping by!
