Argumentative Essay - Pilgrim
 
Choose a controversial topic and write an argumentative paper (800-1000 words). Use 2-3 sources to support your thesis. Paper should be well-organized with thesis and topic sentences. Argument should include original content supported by research. Some portion of the essay must include consideration of opposing viewpoints, but ultimately the paper should affirm one perspective on the topic. Of your sources, one must be a periodical, and one must be a journal or a book. Electronic formats of books and journals are acceptable. MLA format is mandatory, include works cited page.
